This week on the blog, let’s wine and dine!
The Queen’s Feat is back now through Sunday, July 25th! Dozens of restaurants in the Charlotte area are offering 3-course dinners for just $30 or $35 as part of Charlotte Restaurant Week. Treat yourself to a delicious meal - or two - and support our local restaurants. You can view all participating restaurants and their menus here.
Did you hear? Wine Spectator recently released its list of wine program award recipients. One of our favorite South End restaurants, Barcelona Wine Bar, made the list! Barcelona offers a wide array of decadent wines and delicious Spanish-style tapas. We recommend sitting outside on the gorgeous patio. Many of Charlotte’s steakhouses made the list, such as Eddie V’s and Ruth’s Chris. You can see the full list of all 14 award recipients here.
After months of struggling to stay open and pausing operations, restaurants are welcoming customers back to their dining rooms. We are also seeing many new restaurants opening their doors. QC Exclusive and Axios released their lists of must-try new restaurants in the Charlotte area. Restaurants have had to strategically pivot in the face of unprecedented challenges, and we are happy to see them make a comeback. Supperland and Bocado made QC Exclusive’s list, two places which we are itching to try! Supperland now inhabits the former Plaza Church located in Plaza Midwood. The interiors are stunning! Bocado is an Atlanta-based restaurant that has made its mark in South End’s Atherton Mill. Axios’ list gives us the inside scoop on all of the new breweries, plus tons of new eateries, coming to Charlotte this Summer and later this year. We can’t wait to show our local restaurants some love and try these new spots around town!
